I started in the TV and film industry over 20 years ago, training as an editor and then later developed as a successful motion graphics designer. I’ve always been passionate about music and started creating my own tracks as soon as I could afford my own studio setup, building up my music production skills in parallel to my video work.

In 2005, I was given the opportunity to create all the music for a 10 part series of 30 minute episodes for a Discovery/BBC co-production which I was working on as an editor. I wrote about 30 pieces of music in all, writing in the evenings and at weekends, then cutting my tracks into the shows during the day, giving me a fantastic insight into the challenges and rewards involved in writing for the moving image.

Since then, I have created a substantial body of work through writing for production libraries, and creating theme tunes and incidental music for television shows and promotional content. I also release my own electronic tracks and remix other artists under the pseudonym Factory Sequences.
